    Teri Capshaw is an author, editor, former journalist and homeschooling mom. But before she was any of those things she was a kid growing up in Western South Dakota. Some of her earliest memories involve plucking chickens, milking goats, and riding horses.

    Teri and her husband, Jesse, call rural Idaho home. They have four children.
