Paul has ironic and obnoxious humor needs. Imagine a picture of something toxic, or inappropriate in a way that will obviously go down a poor path, and there is Paul, giving a cheesy, thumbs-up and hearty "good luck with that!"

Might not be meme worthy, though it's something I hear him say all the time.

I think his comparison of politicians with scary clowns would be really good as a meme. I just have to get back to the podcast to write it down correctly.

Permaculture is a more symbiotic relationship with nature so I can be even lazier.

From the 2/28/13 Montana Kaimin article where the bad boy label came from: Sustainably slacking: Paul Wheaton, the bad boy of permaculture

I just heard Paul say this to Zach Weiss on the phone:

The overall mission is to change the world.

Heh.

In few of the last podcasts, Paul talked about is political circus theory, so someone made a meme out of it.
politics_meme_3.png
I think that politics is a circus made dominantly of scary clowns whose purpose is to distract you from what is really going on

I like the one about Weeds: resistance is fertile
which only makes sense if you think of the weeds as the resistance.

These quotes are in no particular order and they deal with a variety of subjects. Wherever there is a blank line, a new thought begins. These nuggets were gleaned from all over this site. Most are from --- tinkering with this site.

Therefore, in my personal experience, and doing a little math, I predict that every person with their finger out, pointed at somebody with "greed" on their lips is actually the greedier party. I think what they are actually trying to say is "I want your stuff. But I don't want to do what you did to get it."

Rather than seeing themselves on a path where there are lessons ahead and lessons behind, they are certain that they have arrived at the knowledge destination. Further, now that they know all that there is to know - anybody that has a thought that is not perfectly aligned with their own is wrong.

The question "why not?" has always bugged me. It's as if I have to do a thing unless I lay out a convincing proof to the alternative path.

Once in a long while, somebody says they are not comfortable with forums or they really need an immediate answer from me. That's cool. Please see this page about my rates on one-on-one consultation. And keep in mind, using the forums is always free.

What is not allowed is feeble minded nitwits telling me what to do because of their relationship with God.

I am certainly not God. I am a doofus who is trying to figure out how to do good things.

And, if anybody tells you that you cannot raise squash without irrigation, slap them and show them this video. I think he meant that figuratively.

I deleted a coupla posts here.I wanna remind folks of a few things...

But, of course, nobody likes to have their stuff deleted. So I will always be the bad guy.

Yesterday I learned "everybody thinks paul wheaton is impossible to work with".

"s.h.i.b." is "stoned hippies in the basement pontificating about the way things ought to be."

I am glad that there are folks offended by this approach - those folks are clearly not a fit for these forums and now they will stay away.
I will continue to try and drive traffic to this site - in search of that one person in ten thousand that is a fit for our little community. An exaggeration, I hope.

Rather than standing on a soapbox and trying to tell people to "stop being bad", I am trying to build a better world one brick at a time.

Some sites on the internet will publish anything that anybody submits. This is not one of those sites.

I still do lots of stuff for free. And I'll continue to give stuff away for free. And I'm going to try to pull in enough money to move all of my projects forward. I have things to prove.

I have a knack for fixing things like this ... um ... sorry ... here is a concilitory tiny ad:
