I like this quote the best, so I made this up.

May I ask where that is from Cal? If it was a podcast I must have missed it. A lesson I should learn well.

It's not my photo unfortunately. It's one of my backgrounds, but it's beautiful and quiet like the thought.

I don't actually remember. I remember him saying it, but I can't remember where it's from.

Love this thread!
Would it be ok to use the circus image and quote on a t-shirt?
Actually I'm planning on up cycling a few garments, I'd love to use some of this stuff on patches here and there if its ok.

A version of that quote is on the dailyish email.

"This is paul wheaton's daily-ish email that is usually about
permaculture and making a better world through learning good things
rather than being angry at bad guys."

Also on one of the earlier (I think, did not listen to them in order, but I have listened to them all ) podcasts he mentions and I'm paraphrasing and forgetful 'that a girl from his first PDC mentioned this idea to him'. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also I will say it is my favorite quote, (the dailyish version) because it actually changed my way of interacting, thinking and living. The first dailyish email I got after signing up, I read that and then reread it, paused, said it out loud, paused again, clankings and whirrings inside my head then went about my life different and better for it. Before that I was beating my head against many walls trying to wake people up with a huge info arsenal I had collected about bad guys and bad guy goings on. I kept thinking there had to be a better way due to my lack of success. My friend woke me up that way, but it took years! Then I get that email and it all fell into place. So simple. That girl definitely payed it forward with that phrase and I plan on continuing it. It is almost self-propagating in a way.

Hm, somehow the links to the pics in the previous couple posts are now broken.

This originally came from the Permaculture Voices Conference FaceBook page, though I've downloaded and attached it here just in case the FB link breaks or doesn't work for people!

it's not gonna get done if you don't try. And it's a forgone conclusion that it won't happen if no one tries
