I'm reading through the Building a Better World in Your Backyard book, and some quotes really jumped out at me...so I thought I'd try making them into memes!

What are your favorite quotes from the book (or from Paul in general)?

I don't think this quote was from the book, but it was too fun to pass up!

(I found some really fun pictures of Paul in this thread, and this picture seemed perfect--it's like he's just about to say "so I can be even lazier.")

Exactly! And, the grass can be the "playing field," too!

This one was fun. My husband said I nailed "the mommy meme" style perfectly, .

Nobody try to read the "recipe"! I had fun making it up, and I'm hoping the cursive font covers up the fact that photoshop doesn't have spellcheck!

Not quite sure I like the image, but it's hard finding good ones to fit the awesome message. EDIT: I made a second version. Is it better?

So this gal, Jenny, has taken some of the things I have said and slapped them on images and pushed them onto the fan page at facebook. The one she put up this morning has really taken off.

Let's see if I can paste some in:

I hope that, someday, grocery stores carry only permaculture food because the farmers make more money growing permaculture food and monsanto dries up and blows away because nobdy will give them money

So Jenny emailed me a little while ago and said she can't think of anymore and if there is anything I can think of. But I don't really know. It seems like I don't say anything all that profound until it appears on a pretty picture like that.

Here is my latest "elevator" blurb to describe permaculture: "permaculture is optimizing the symbiotic relationship between nature and people so I can be lazier."

Not sure if that helps.

Can anybody think of anything I've said somewhere that seems worthy of going on a pretty picture?

the monent you put an animal in a cage or behind a fence, you are taking responsibility for the welfare of that animal. if you are a person of conscience, then you want to treat the animal well. Possibly better that if it were living in the wild.

In the last podcast, Paul was asking Geoff about his famous quotes.

Apart from the ones in these memes, what would be other Paul Wheaton's great quotes?

Ok I know Paul has said lots of great things worthy of a pretty picture, but my all-time favorite is: "I am coffees Bitch".
In our house it has now been adopted as a Family Saying.

Ahh, this one is definitely worthy of a pretty picture.
