Summary

Paul and Josiah discuss the upcoming events at Wheaton Labs. The ATC, now called the Permaculture Technology Jamboree, is being prepared. This follows the PDC and precedes the SKIP (SKills for Inheriting Property) event.

The berm shed is now all done and they discuss its history, from early promises of its being built in four days, through bounty funded attempts to fix it up which involved too many shortcuts, through re-designing and rebuilding. Asking questions on permies resulted in both good and bad suggestions and Paul and Josiah discuss many of the things they learned along the way, comparing notes with progress at Allerton Abbey. The boots stepped in to do most of the work and estimates on costing and time required for a similar build are made.

Paul bemoans the lack of good videos about roundwood timber fame construction, but praises Ben Law's work.  Thoughts are shared on using home grown versus waste stream lumber, and the use of metal in the construction. The podcast is rounded off with a few thoughts on the pros of the design.
