Summary
Credit: Eric Tolbert
Length: 55 minutes

This podcast is a continuation of Podcast 428, where Paul and Jocelyn continue to discuss various different things going on around the lab.

Paul reprises some of his recent experience carving a handmade wooden spoon and Jocelyn discusses the amount of work that goes into hosting workshops and seminars. Jocelyn explains the Project Time system they have put in place where they each pick a project and they both spend at least 20 minutes a day on one project on each of their lists. They both spend some time discussing recent projects they've worked on and the results of those projects.

The pair discuss their new "kindling cracker" from Northern Tool that facilities splitting kindling and how it makes the job easier and safer.

Paul and Jocelyn then move on to a recap of the recent projects, including cleaning the ash out of their Rocket Mass Heater, Fixing broken laundry line,  cutting down a tree to make coat racks.

Paul talks a bit about his Better Heat DVD orders. Jocelyn discusses "The Impossible Task" and what that entails and how you get around the problem.

The podcast winds up with a discussion about the audio available for Permaculture Voices 1, 2 and 3 and the impact that the Permaculture Voices conferences had on Paul and Permaculture in general.
