Summary

Fred and Paul discuss Paul's article "Struggles, Hurdles, Challenges and Observations" about how you can choose whether you want to produce "Epic Shit" or want to live a little grey life. If you choose to work hard and learn things that other people don't know how to do - you can produce "Epic Shit". If you choose to produce stuff that is "Good Enough" or "Average", then you will not have anything to show for it when you sit in the old people's home. It is the challenges you solve in your life that you learn from - and which you can use next time you meet a challenge.

Preach it brother! Damn right! This podcast resonated with me a lot, especially with how I feel the need to make stuff happen! And I found the stories about programming and the dad beneath the tree to be rather insightful! And I also believe that not being around people who discourage you from doing epic shit (or better yet to be with people who encourage you) helps with getting awesome stuff to be done!

My favorite is a chocolate cupcake with white frosting and tiny ad sprinkles.
