Summary

Paul visits with Dr. Julia Winter. Julia is a Doctor, Patreon patron, Kickstarter supporter, and Permies Staff member. They have a nice chat about Paul's analysis of her 40 acre farm.

In part 2 Paul and Julia continue talking about diversity, and designing and managing such a large area.
They also chat a little about city life versus country life, unwelcome plants and weeds, the "biggest little farm" movie, guest gardeners, a roadside market stall, a berm and local restrictions.

When you were talking about a roadside stall of some kind, I thought of a few ideas....

wood-stove cooked apple and blackberry pies

Children days / school visits from the city
They pick blackberries and apples and make jam or pies or something to take home, feed the cows, etc.
Parents pay a small donation for lunch for the day, which they might eat in a temporary marquee?

I love that Paul advocates something other than farming.

"A symbiotic relationship with woodland" resonates with me.
