I'll jump on this bandwagon. I also wanted to say, I really like how when you log in, you go back to the page you were previously viewing!

As a former web designer, it drives me crazy when sites don't do that.

This morning I woke thinking, I get to hear from folks who raise bullfrogs for a living (who sent a lovely note and thanks for the forums), others who gather and ferment capers from the wilds of Ladakh, and neighbors down the road raising Icelandic chickens. How cool is that?

Here, in my Lana-esque "man hands" (a reference from the show 'Archer') is the jar of plump, aromatic, wild Ladakh capers! Look at the size of them!

I would just like to add my "Thank you very much" to the list. I love hanging out here. It's so . . . nice.  And today I was made a Pollinator! I'm not sure what exactly that means yet, BUT I know I get to give away the proverbial Apple A Day. So that'll be fun.

Just watched a you tube video from Permaculture Voices conference 2014. Paul Wheaton is always a dynamic speaker and I really appreciate the message he put forth about being open minded and kind when replying to new ideas about permaculture. I don't know if things have gotten any better in the last two years or not. As a chemist in my working life I understand the need to be open to new ideas. I dablle in gardening now that I'm retired and spend a great deal of time outside managing my 1 acre property and hope to have fruit trees to add to my blackberry and blueberry bushes.

Please keep spreading the word about permaculture ideas. I did not know about corporate trolls and how they battle against ideas that are contrary to big business or just to be rude. Thanks for the insightand new info. After seeing Geoff Lawton's videos and many other speakers on the topic, I really think this is the smartest move for the future of farming. Thanks again Paul keep on eating three squares a day

Thank you, Devaka Cooray. It seems that whenever there is a new feature or some problem is fixed, it has Devaka's name on it. I don't understand how software works, and I don't need to. Thank you.

I'm so grateful: you all have read and responded to dozens and dozens of my thoughts on various topics in the last few months, refined and added to any suggestions and ideas, and have created an incredible online atmosphere that it took me many months to understand was not a lucky, happy accident. Staff and members always give us the feeling that we are making valuable contributions to the forum (and the world!) which surely must create upward spirals right and left. It certainly has for me--many thanks and best wishes for all of you behind Permies!
